The main trophy of the National Basketball Association (NBA) was brought to Lithuania for one day for the first time and exhibited in Vilnius. The updated trophy for the league champions today, Thursday, from 11 am to 23 pm. you can see it and take a selfie with it in the premises of the capital's "OlyBet sports bar and grill", where the "Basketball Day" was held.
The 61 cm tall glass is made of more than 7 kg of silver and covered with 24 carat gold. Since 1977 the cup for the new NBA champion is produced annually by a world-famous company JAV jewelry company Tiffany & Co. The main trophy of the NBA, called the Larry O'Brien Cup, was renewed for the 75th season of the NBA and this year was presented for the first time to the Golden State Warriors of San Francisco.
The Larry O'Brien Cup was accompanied to Vilnius by representatives of the NBA, it is given special protection in Lithuania. And there is really something to keep - it is one of the most expensive trophies in the world of sports, costing about 13,5 thousand. US dollars (about 13,2 thousand euros).

Today, during "Basketball Day", in the premises of "OlyBet sport bar and grill", Konstitucijos pr. 20, in Vilnius, the Larry O'Brien Cup can be viewed and photographed with it from 11 a.m. to 23 p.m. Basketball lovers are also invited to participate in a brainstorming session about basketball led by Roko Jama Grajauskas, and from 19.30:XNUMX p.m. to watch the live broadcast of the friendly matches of the national teams of Lithuania and Spain.
The main NBA trophy will be exhibited in Lithuania for one day. Tomorrow the cup will be taken to Latvia.
