Sunday around 19 p.m. The plane of the Portuguese national team with a delegation of football players landed in Vilnius airport. Among them is one of the world's most famous football players - Cristiano Ronaldo.
The entire Portuguese team stayed in the capital at the Grand Hotel Kempinski, near Cathedral Square.
A small group of football fans and journalists welcomed the Portuguese national team next to the hotel. Cristiano Ronaldo gave fans a thumbs up as he walked into his hotel.
On Tuesday evening, the Portuguese will play a qualifying match for the 2022 European Football Championship against the Lithuanian team. The match will be played at the LFF Stadium in Liepkalnis.
