Before this evening's European Cup match between Vilnius "Ryto" and Limož "CSP" clubs, a modern LED screen cube with the highest resolution and twice the size of the previous one was installed in the capital's arena. This solution will not only provide more statistical information to the basketball fans watching the matches in the hall, but will also take the watching of the matches to the next level.
The new Siemens arena cube consists of four separate LED screens with a total area of almost 100 square meters. meters, when until now basketball fans were greeted by 40 square meters in Siemens Arena. cubic meter area. The new cube is the largest cube in Lithuania, but its uniqueness and advantage is not only its size, but also its resolution: it has ten times more pixels than the previous one. In addition, thanks to the wide viewing angle, basketball fans will see a high-quality image from any place in the arena.
"In recent years, we have invested a lot in the renovation of the arena, we are looking for the most modern and attractive solutions for our visitors. During our visit to the global technology exhibition in China in the spring, we had the opportunity to see with our own eyes the best that developers have to offer today. We immediately realized that we want these solutions in our arena as well. After months of waiting, a new cube has arrived at the Siemens Arena, and with it the most modern and best LED screen technology today," says Andrius Žiauberis, head of the Siemens Arena, and invites you to see the capabilities of the new cube tonight.
In the new cube of LED screens, the spectators will not only see a better and larger live image of the moments of the match, but additionally, statistical information of players and teams will be displayed, and interactive games will be held with the spectators. An effort will be made to show the audience as many details as possible through the cube, which until now were not always visible while sitting in the hall.
It is convenient that the new cube is mobile and versatile. Since the cube consists of individual LED screens, it can be dismantled and reassembled by the arena staff in about 5 hours. In addition, the screens can be installed not only in the cube, but also in other shaped planes, for example, a huge continuous screen.
"This expands the possibilities of use: it can be used not only in basketball matches, but also during other events, such as concerts. In addition, we also ordered a prefabricated 10 sq. meter screen, which would perfectly integrate into the concept of any medium-sized conference or private event. From now on, we have even more equipment that can add innovation, quality and enhance emotions to any type of event", A. Žiauberis is happy.
On the order of Siemens Arena, the cube was manufactured by Absen Optoelectronic, the leader of LED screen manufacturers from China, which has already implemented over 30. projects in more than 120 countries of the world.
