The Malmsten Swim Open Stockholm 2023 international swimming competition has started in Stockholm, the capital of Sweden, in which the representative of Lithuania is also participating Dan Rapšys.
For the Lithuanian, who came from the training camp in the highlands of Sierra Nevada, it is not only an opportunity to compete with strong rivals, but also one of the opportunities to meet the qualification standards for next year's Summer Olympic Games in Paris.
On Thursday, D. Rapšys started his performance in the competition in the 400 m. style in qualification.

Lithuanian record: 3.43,36 min. – Danas Rapšys (2019) Olympic OQT norm: 3.46,78 min.
The man from Panevėžys finished second in the fourth swim (3.49,49 min.) and after only Irishman Daniel Wiffen (3.49,18 min.) took fourth place in the overall standings of the strongest swimmers. Austrian Felix Auböck (3.48,49 min) and British Max Litchfield (3.49,11 min) were faster than ours in the morning.

The final of this match is scheduled for Thursday at 19.14:XNUMX p.m.

The Lithuanian has already fulfilled the necessary standards (in the 200 and 400 breaststroke events) for this year's World Championships in Fukuoka, Japan.
