On Friday, the "ES.TAR" fashion house debuted in the capital. A large group of designers, performers, opinion makers and representatives of the fashion industry came to the event. The collection created by designer Saimons Tartenis took the guests to the nostalgic 2000s, presenting as many as 50 combinations on the catwalk. Famous faces of the country wore the clothes designed by the artist during the event.
S. Tartenis has 7 years of experience in the world of fashion. Together with the brand "Jordanluca", as the chief designer, he works every year at Paris, London and Milan Fashion Week events. This year, Silvester Belt walked the turquoise carpet of Eurovision with ES.TAR clothes.
Famous people wore designer clothes
A large group of Lithuanian celebrities who gathered at the event not only waited impatiently for the show, but also wore clothes designed by designer S. Tartenis. The "ES.TAR" team created images for opinion makers Karolina Meschino, Naglius Bierancs, Lukas Gricius, stylist Vilta Kindererevičiūtė, performer Angelou, Vaidotas Valiukevičius and Simona Burbaitei for this evening.
The presentation of the collection was also watched by other famous faces - hair stylist Kęstas Rimdžius, designer Sandra Straukaitė, Agnė Kuzmickaitė, stylist Irina Sinė and others.
Moved to the nostalgic 2000s
There was no shortage of surprises and well-recognizable accents of the designer's style at the presentation of the new collection. The founder of "ES.TAR", designer S. Tartenis tried to create a feeling of nostalgia with the combinations he created. The Lithuanian accessories fashion house "kARTu studio" helped to fulfill the idea of the collection.
"We used to create collections out of protest, to be heard, but this year the energy has changed. The collection is dominated by feelings of sadness, melancholy and nostalgia. It is like a phase of reconciliation that has come after the period of protest. In reference to the nostalgia that prevails in the collection, people often associate days gone by with youth and good times that will never return. The story told on the podium also looks back to those times", says S. Tartenis.
The designer says that the collection was inspired by his and the team's childhood moments: "We looked for inspiration in our parents' stories, old magazines and photo albums. Therefore, the Lithuanian aesthetics, colors, elements and kitsch of the 2000s stand out very clearly in the collection."
According to the designer, a very large team contributed to the debut show. "Dozens of people who are professionals in different fields have contributed to the collection. Without them this show wouldn't have happened, I am beyond grateful. I want to say a special thank you to the project manager Guste Kašėtaita and the stylist Taurus Žemaičius", says the designer.
