Stiklo quarter (the intersection of Stiklių, M. Antokolskios, Žydui, Gaonos streets in the old town of Vilnius) is famous for the fact that it is the original 15th century. the goldsmiths' town of the capital. The richest craftsmen of that time worked in this place, built brick houses, and a goldsmith's guild operated on Gaon Street.
Today, the secret of the revival of this quarter is as many as 14 places where you can find all kinds of jewelry: from fashion, souvenir jewelry, original works of artists in jewelry galleries to diamond shops, a jewelry library and a school.

Another special place has been opened in the jewelry capital of Vilnius - the temporary shop - gallery of the unique drawing artist Ben Staškauskas - S'j - Statement Jewellery, which will be open until the middle of September. The artist creates jewelry that interests fans of futuristic jewelry, trendsetters, people from all over the world looking for a different, strange and magical expression and materiality.
Benas Staškauskas became a jeweler in Reykjavik (Iceland). After some time, he moved his workshops and ideas to Vilnius, where he still creates, and his works travel even to the most distant countries.

Ben's creations are born from the music that the artist improvises while listening to create his special rings worn on the nostrils, ears and fingers. He chooses materials of the future and uses unusual combinations and colors for jewelers.
In the temporary gallery, Ben has also set up a work desk - while waiting for customers every day, he will also be busy with the preparation and creation of his works - so when you come, you can see the unusual technological processes of the jeweler-artist.
