The MadeinVilnius.lt portal organizes for the first time the exclusive awards of the city of Vilnius "Best of Vilnius 2020". These awards are intended to uniquely celebrate the best events, projects and people of the year.
This year, awards will be given in 6 categories: "Best Project 2020", "Best restaurant/cafe/bar 2020″, “Best Community 2020″, “Debut of the Year 2020″, “Best Place 2020″, “Vilnius of the Year 2020″.

Senators' Arcade
In July, in the heart of the old town, a unique space dedicated to culinary experiences was opened - "Senators' Arcade". Most of this place is dedicated to food and gastronomic experiences. There are food shops, a bakery, restaurants.

TV tower observation deck
In May, AB "Lietuvos radijo ir televizione centras" announced that it was opening the country's highest outdoor terrace-terrace to visitors for the first time. The picturesque site of the TV tower is located at a height of 180 meters.

White bridge square
In the fall, at White bridge, a playground was opened, where 9 beach volleyball courts, 9 double-sided basketball courts, children's playgrounds, outdoor gymnastics and outdoor fitness areas, and a skate park for skaters and skateboarders operate on an area of almost 3 hectares.

Pilaitė playpen
In August, In Pilaite, the exclusive, fundamentally renovated sports field of the Pilaitė gymnasium was opened. The renovated stadium is distinguished by its inflatable dome, which will allow both young football talents and students of Pilaitė Gymnasium and the local community to play football and athletics throughout the year.

Senvagė Valley Park
This autumn, in Šnipiškės, a unique public space - Senvagės slėnios park - was opened.
The people of Vilnius can reach the valley of the old river Neris by the newly installed bicycle and pedestrian paths that stretch throughout the park from Linkmenų and Ozo streets. Going down the path from Oz Street, you can admire unexpected panoramic views.

Green islands
Green islands are an urban innovation in the apartment districts of Vilnius. The first islands will be delivered in July.
Having planned a hundred green islands - recreation squares in the courtyards of apartment buildings Vilnius city municipality hopes that they will become the center of community life, and at the same time, an impulse that will inspire all 20 wards of the capital for further qualitative changes in the living environment.
