Halle market is the longest running market place, this year it is 110 years old. Her interesting story was found in the book "Halė. History of the Vilnius market".
"There were a lot of drawings and all sorts of details about the early construction work. There were even copies of blueprints for the carriages that were meant for the goods. A very modern heating system and a public toilet were installed in the market place of Halle", says historian Aelita Ambrulevičiūtė, one of the compilers of the book, about the interesting facts.
