International aircraft ground handling company Baltic Ground Services ("BGS"), owned byAvia Solutions Group", begins a partnership with a new client - the Romanian airline "FLYYO". The company will provide ground handling services for three years Vilnius airport, and an agreement was also signed for the supply of aviation fuel at Vilnius and Kaunas airports.
The new partnership with BGS marks the start of the airline's operations in Lithuania. The first FLYYO flights from Vilnius to Tel Aviv International Airport will begin on May 15. It is planned to operate two flights per week.
Vitalis Dudys, Head of Commercial Operations at BGS Group, said: "We are pleased to be the first ground handling partner of FLYYO in Lithuania and contribute to the successful operations and development of the airline not only in Europe but also beyond, by providing high-quality ground handling and fuel supply services."
FLYYO is one of the fastest growing airlines registered in Romania, currently offering charter and ACMI (Aircraft Lease with Crew, Maintenance and Insurance) services. The airline's fleet consists of three Airbus 320 family aircraft. The main markets are Europe and the Mediterranean region. The company intends to expand, offering scheduled flights in 2027.

In February 2025, the airline signed an annual charter flight agreement with Israeli tour operators, launching flights from Tel Aviv to 26 European cities, including Vilnius and Kaunas. BGS’s collaboration with FLYYO underscores the company’s commitment to supporting the development of growing airlines and providing reliable ground handling and fuel supply services.
