A Turkish Airlines plane flying to Istanbul turned around and returned to Vilnius Airport on Thursday evening due to technical reasons, the 15min portal reports.
"The plane returned due to technical reasons, which are currently being assessed. Passengers have returned to the terminal. As soon as more information is known, passengers will be informed," Neringa Čiukšienė, Marketing Manager at Lithuanian Airports, told the portal.
She said she could not yet answer whether the flight to Istanbul was still planned for today, and was awaiting the airline's decision. Currently, passengers at the airport are being taken care of by a ground handling company.
The plane departed Vilnius at 20.20:10 p.m., but turned around and returned XNUMX minutes later.
