Airline companyWizz Air" is celebrating its birthday with a special promotion. With a network of over 800 routes and nearly 200 destinations in over 50 countries, the airline is marking its birthday with a campaign that reflects its long-standing commitment to offering affordable, personalized and value-creating travel experiences.
Since its first flight from Katowice to London Luton Airport in 2004, Wizz Air has carried more than 437,7 million passengers. This growth is supported by 33 bases in 16 countries, a modern and efficient fleet of 232 Airbus aircraft (66% of which are equipped with the latest generation “neo” technology), with an average age of just 4,66 years – one of the youngest fleets in the industry.
The campaign also reflects the company's Customer First Compass initiative, which encompasses four key aspects of travel: product, price, service and communication. Investing €14 billion over the next three years, Wizz Air is constantly evolving with its customers' needs - offering low prices, more flexibility, a seamless travel experience and attentive service at every step.
“Our birthday is not just a celebration for us. It is a heartfelt thank you to the millions of passengers who have flown with Wizz Air since our first flight. This remarkable journey has only been possible thanks to the trust, enthusiasm and loyalty of our customers across Europe and beyond. Whether you are planning a weekend getaway, visiting loved ones or discovering a new destination, we want to be part of your journey. With a rapidly growing route network, a modern fleet and a new focus on personalization through the Customer First Compass initiative, we aim to make travel even more accessible, enjoyable and tailored to each passenger. This celebration is for our passengers, both past and future. We look forward to welcoming you all on board our aircraft,” said Salvatore Gabriele Imperiale, Head of Corporate Communications.
