Baltic Airlines "airBaltic" announced plans to increase the frequency of flights from Vilnius to Amsterdam (Netherlands) and Dubai (United Arab Emirates) in the upcoming winter season, from the end of October 2025 to the end of March 2026.
airBaltic will operate 14 flights per week between Vilnius and Amsterdam, further improving Lithuania’s connectivity to the world through one of Europe’s largest airports. In addition, airBaltic will increase the number of flights to Dubai to four times a week – more than any other airline – to meet the growing demand for flights to the United Arab Emirates.
"When planning the winter schedule, we aim to ensure the most convenient connection for Lithuanian travelers. More flights from Vilnius to Amsterdam and Dubai will open up new travel opportunities and better accessibility. One of airBaltic's unique features is free high-speed Starlink internet, which allows you to work, watch videos or communicate during the flight. This is especially valuable on longer routes, such as Vilnius-Dubai, where every minute in the air can be used meaningfully," says Mantas Vrubliauskas, Vice President of Network Management at airBaltic.
"airBaltic's decision to further strengthen connections with global aviation hubs such as Amsterdam and Dubai marks a qualitative growth of air transport in Lithuania. Such routes open up even more convenient routes to many countries around the world. We appreciate this consistent step by the airline, which significantly contributes to the development of aviation in the entire country," says Simonas Bartkus, Head of Lithuanian Airports (LTOU).
In addition to airBaltic's expansion in Vilnius, the airline will continue to provide direct flight services between Palanga (Lithuania) and Amsterdam, operating two flights per week, which will be aimed at both leisure and business travelers, as well as ensuring convenient onward connections.
airBaltic plans to launch new flights between Riga (Latvija) and Faro (Portugal). In order to ensure a smooth and convenient travel process for passengers from all over Lithuania, the schedules of connecting flights from Vilnius and Palanga to Riga have been coordinated with the new flights to Faro.
The airline is also offering free high-speed internet connectivity with SpaceX Starlink, becoming the first European airline to offer this service. The entire fleet is planned to be equipped with this service gradually.
