Latvian Airlines "airBalticannounced that it will start operating direct flights from Vilnius to Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, from October 6 of this year. Passengers will be flown three times a week.
"We are ready to strengthen communication with the capitals of all three Baltic countries. Following all the restrictions and recommendations of the official authorities and introducing various additional safety measures, we continue to adjust our airline network. This summer, this is our fifth completely new direct route from Vilnius", says Martinas Gaussas, CEO of airBaltic.
Currently, airBaltic operates direct flights from Vilnius, Riga and Tallinn to various European business centers and popular holiday destinations.
