"Wizz Air" this Saturday started flights in a new direction from Vilnius to London Southend Airport. The flights will operate three times a week - Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday - connecting the capital with London Southend Airport in the United Kingdom.

"Strengthening the connection with London is one of our priorities, as demand from Lithuanian airports is growing steadily. The new route Vilnius - London Southend Airport, opened this Saturday, will increase the possibilities of reaching London and provide more choices not only for Lithuanian, but also for passengers from the United Kingdom," says Aurimas Stikliūnas, Head of the Aviation Services Department at Lithuanian Airports.

In addition to London Southend Airport, the company also operates flights from Vilnius, Kaunas, Palanga airports to London Luton Airport. From all three Lithuanian airports, Wizz Air currently offers flights to 28 destinations in 15 countries.
From March 2020, 30, Wizz Air will also start flights to Zaporizhia in Ukraine.

Since the first flight from Vilnius in 2011 Wizz Air is one of the leaders Vilnius airportDuring this year, the airline carried almost 1,3 million passengers on its low-cost Lithuanian routes.
