According to him, it is planned to purchase another 28,4 million kilometers of transportation from private carriers.
The mayor did not disclose the purchase price because it will be determined during the tender, and the prices offered by carriers during market consultations were competitive compared to current prices.
There are currently 106 public transport routes in Vilnius, 75 of which belong to the company "Vilnius public transport", and the rest - to private carriers "Transrevis" (23) and "Kautrai" (8).
