Good news for capital city drivers using m.Parking - payment by bank cards starts in the mobile app. From now on, it is even faster and more convenient to pay for parking in places charged with a local toll by adding the payment card used in the app.
"More and more drivers are choosing m.Parking as one of those apps that is an everyday, already common tool - currently it has approximately 250 users. users. In order for m.Parking to pay for parking services with a bank card, it is necessary to use the latest version of the app. If you have selected automatic update in the app store settings, the app will update.
For the convenience of users, the app will save the last payment method - it will be offered automatically the next time you connect. If necessary, the payment method can always be changed before the start of payment.
How will payment by bank card work?
After connecting to the app, as before, you need to enter your car's registration number, choose a city and a parking zone. In order to pay for parking with bank cards, in the "Payment" section of the app, you will be asked to add your card once and specify its details. After completing these steps, users will receive a confirmation code from their bank, which will successfully link the card to m.Parking.
The application for car parking will reserve an amount of money from a bank card - a separate reserved amount is valid for each local toll zone, which is then returned to the payer's account. If parking continues after the reserved amount has expired, the payment is automatically extended by the same reserved amount until the parking is stopped.
When parking is stopped, a message is sent (English notification) about the payment made. It is calculated based on the actual parking time, and the money reserved at the beginning of parking is returned to the account. The actual payment notification is sent only when users have chosen to receive such notifications from apps in the phone settings, in the apps window.
In addition, when specifying bank card details, the app will also ask you to enter your e-mail address. e-mail address - every time after parking and paying with a bank card, this e-mail information about the completed payment will be sent by mail.
When paying for parking with a bank card, the booking fee is not applied, which is valid for parking when paying by SMS message or app through a mobile operator.

It is reminded that drivers can pay for parking in Vilnius using m.Parking by sending a short message to the number 1332 or at parking meters. Currently, contactless payment with a payment card is already available in some parking meters - it is planned that this functionality will appear in all ticket machines in Vilnius.
