Infrastructure improvement works continue to be actively carried out in the city of Vilnius – the municipal enterprise “Beam" informs that its teams are currently working in several important areas of the capital. The goal is to ensure safer and more comfortable movement for all Vilnius residents.
One of the largest projects is underway on Kalvarijų Street, one of the main transport arteries of the capital. Intensive asphalting and street renovation works are underway here, which will improve the movement of both public and private transport.
New sidewalks and curbs are being installed on Vasaros Street, an important step towards improving infrastructure for both pedestrians and drivers. The new solutions will make moving around this rapidly urbanizing part of the city safer.
Sidewalk repairs are underway on Islandijos Street, located in the very center of the city. They will help ensure comfortable and safe pedestrian traffic in one of the most visited places by tourists and locals.
Meanwhile, the repair of the existing infrastructure continues at the intersection of Tilta and Ž. Liauksmino streets. Road elements are being renovated in this section to improve not only aesthetic but also functional mobility conditions.
Grinda points out that while the ongoing works may cause temporary inconvenience, they are necessary and will contribute to the long-term improvement of the quality of life in the city. Residents are urged to be patient and attentive, especially during the works in high-traffic areas.
