It becomes clear how the network of streets near the newly emerging Vilnius will be reorganized.Acropolis Vingis" and apartment block "reVingis". After the surrounding streets are repaired, it will be convenient to get to the new attraction not only by car, but also on foot or by bicycle. New paths and an underground pedestrian crossing will ensure uninterrupted movement not only to the shopping complex, but also to the Neris embankment and Vingios Park.

Vilnius city municipality approved project proposals for the reconstruction of the section of Eigulių street between Tukstantmetis, Geležinis Vilkas streets and Savanorių avenue roundabout.

A roundabout, an additional traffic lane from the side of the Neris river towards "Akropolis Vingis", convenient pedestrian paths and crossings are planned to be installed on Eiguliau street. A new section of the bicycle path will be installed from Geležinis Vilkas towards Elektrinės gatvė. It will be possible to ride this bike path from Vilkpėda to Vingis Park, through the underground passage to Gerosios Vilties Street.

Since the car traffic here is intense, the pedestrian and bicycle paths will be separated from the roadway by new greenery, and parallel parking will be installed on the street, which will also create a physical barrier from the roadway.

Keisis and the section of Geležinios Vilkos streets near the newly developed "Akropolis Vingis" complex, the intersection between Geležinios Vilkos and Tukstantmečios streets. The part of MK Čiurlionios Street leading to Vingis Park and the part of Gerosios Vilties Street will also change.

Gelezinio Vilko st. and Gerosios Vilties st. the intersection is planned to be transformed into a roundabout. In this place, the entrance of cars to the underground parking lot of the multifunctional complex is provided.

Designers UAB "INHUS Engineering" have designed an underground pedestrian and bicycle crossing under Geležinio Vilko Street. This will be the main pedestrian connection of Akropolis Vingis with the city center. It will allow pedestrians and cyclists to access the "Akropolis Vingis" area and MK Čiurlionis Street from the New Town side without waiting at the intersections.

Gerosios Vilties st. designed as a quiet traffic street. It includes wide pedestrian paths, a separate bicycle path, green areas, and the avenue of trees will be supplemented with new greenery.

As it is now, MK Čiurlionios Street will lead to Vingis Park, but it will also be possible to access the new residential quarters. There are no planned entrances to the parking lot of the shopping building from this street. A bicycle path is being designed, and the avenue of old poplars is being preserved. MK Čiurlionis Street is being built with a turn around area and a drop-off point for visitors.

The part of Gelezini Vilka Street from Savanorių Ave. roundabout to Geležini Vilko st. 25, part of MK Čiurlionios street and part of Gerosios Vilties street from Geležinio Vilka st. to Savanorių Ave. reconstruction project proposals are still being reviewed by Vilnius Municipality specialists. The building permit is expected to be received early next year.

It was necessary to reconstruct the transport hub near the Savanorių Ring due to the upcoming projects that will completely change the face of the city: "reVingis" - the construction of four residential blocks near the Neris embankment (the embankment will also be maintained) and one administrative building, as well as the construction of the "Akropolis Vingis" complex.

All works will be carried out at the expense of the company managed by Akropolis Group.
