Last October, the municipality installed a ring at the intersection of Naugarduks and Vytenis streets, which soon caused great indignation among the residents. For a long time, the ring was marked by lines drawn on the road. It will be different from now on.
On Saturday "Beam” closed Vytenis and Naugardukas streets due to ongoing renovation works. A new roundabout appeared quickly here - it took only two days for the specialists.
As "Grinda" specialists explained to the portal MadeinVilnius.lt, lines were previously drawn at the intersection, which were erased over time. The problem arose that people did not know how and where to drive. It was decided that structures should be installed on the road to mark roundabouts.
The aforementioned structures have already appeared at the roundabout. Drivers are already crossing the renovated ring, where small architectural pavement elements have appeared.
The intersection of Naugarduks and Vytenis streets was remodeled according to the new street standards, the Municipality assures that it notices that after the installation of the new ring, drivers slow down at the intersection. You can read more about it here.
