In the near future, it is planned to begin reconstructing a section of T. Kosciuskos Street from the intersection with Olandų Street to the intersection with Sluškų Street. The length of the reconstructed section is almost 400 meters.
“From the roundabout towards Sluškų Street, on the left side of the street, it is planned to install parking spaces at the Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis Gymnasium of Arts. <…> In the reconstructed part of T. Kosciuska, the bus stop will be moved further from the roundabout with Olandų Street. Taking into account pedestrian flows and the intensity of vehicle traffic on T. Kosciuska Street, the existing crossing will be moved further from the roundabout by installing traffic lights. A bicycle crossing is planned and regulated at the pedestrian crossing regulated by traffic lights,” the submitted design proposals for the reconstruction of the street state.
