"We aim to ensure that micromobility devices are used responsibly on the streets of the capital. The towing of sharing platform vehicles is one such function, which will help to ensure compliance with road traffic rules and bring even more micromobility devices to the parking order on the streets of the capital," municipality representative Andrzej Dinikis is quoted as saying in the report.
It is expected that from next week, the person who drove the micromobility device and KET an administrative fine of up to 90 euros will be imposed on the violator, and up to 180 euros if parked in a disabled parking spot.
At that time, owners of electric scooters and bicycles or rental operators will have to pay a transport and storage fee - 48 euros including VAT.
The municipality indicates that micromobility devices will be forcibly removed from pedestrian, bicycle paths and other places where their parking is prohibited.
