In order to ensure residents a smooth visit to the graves of their relatives, public transport will run more often and will stop at stops where they don't normally stop during the All-Hallows period. At that time, the organization of car traffic is being changed at the Liepynė, Rokantiškii, Karveliškii, Kairėnai and Saltoniškii cemeteries. Public order at the approaches to the cemetery will be monitored and both municipal and police officers will take care of traffic regulation. We ask road users to be careful, follow the traffic rules and the instructions of the traffic controllers.

How will traffic organization change?

From October 22 until November 2 Parking will be prohibited near the bus stops, roundabouts, and entrance gates of the Rokantiškii, Karveliškii, Kairėnai and Saltoniškii cemeteries. We remind you that parking is prohibited on the street leading from Žirniau street to the Liepynės cemetery all year round.

From October 29 until November 2 At the approaches to the Rokantiškii, Karveliškii, Kairėnai and Saltoniškii cemeteries, traffic will be diverted via detour routes:

  • Traffic to the Rokantiškii cemetery from Steponas Bator st. will be directed through the district of New Vilnius, along A. Kojelavičius, Sioriė, Uosii, Kalno and Rokantiškiu streets. Cars will be able to be parked in parking lots and roadsides, where they do not obstruct traffic and there are no road signs prohibiting parking.
  • Transport traffic to the Kairėnai cemetery from the side of Nemenčinės highway from Kairėnai street will be directed by a detour on Šilėnai street, and from Plytinės street towards the cemetery, one-way traffic will be established.
  • Those going to the Karveliški cemetery through the Pilaitė district with their own transport will be able to get to the cemetery not on the main road, but on the surrounding road, located 1 km from the main entrance, going towards Sudervė. It is recommended to enter the Karveliški cemetery from Vilnius district The sides of the ward will be divided. This cemetery can also be reached by public transport, by leaving your car at the "Park and Go" parking lot in Žvēryne (62 Sēlių str.).
  • November 1 Traffic will be prohibited on Đžuolyna street, at the Saltoniškių cemetery, with the exception of public transport traffic

How will public transport routes and timetables change?

For more convenient access to the Rokantiškii, Karveliškii, Saltoniškii, Kairenai, Liepyna and Antakalnis cemeteries, public transport will run more often on the following routes:

  • October 22 - 28 Buses on bus route 37 will run more often - every 30 minutes. And larger capacity buses will run on bus route 63.
  • October 29 - November 2 bus routes 2, 37, 38, 63, 88 will run more often.
  • October 29 - 30 and November 1 - 2 bus routes 114 and 115 and trolleybus routes 2, 7, 16 and 19 will run more often.
  • November 1 7 and 4G route buses will run more often.

Additional changes in the organization of public transport

During the Halloween period, from October 29. until November 2, daily from 9 a.m. to 19 p.m. additionally, buses of route 88 will stop by the Liepynės cemetery.

Those going to Liepynes cemetery by public transport have several alternatives:

  • go to the airport with the 3G route buses and change to the 2 and 88 route buses that run to the Liepynė cemetery;
  • go with bus routes 1, 2 and 88 to the Vikingai stop and, after crossing the street, at the next Vikingai stop, change to bus routes 2 and 88 going to the Liepynė cemetery. At this stop, the transfer time between the mentioned routes will be coordinated.

October 29 - 30 and November 1 - 2 from 7 a.m. to 22 p.m. due to heavy traffic at the approaches to the Rokantiškii cemetery, the route of bus route 115 in the direction of New Vilnius and the route of bus route 119 in the direction of Egliskii will change:

  • Route 115 buses, traveling in the direction of New Vilnius, will go to the stop Rokantiškės, where they will turn around and continue the detour - along Viršupis, Milda and S. Bator streets to S. Bator–Dūmų st. intersections, then the usual route to the New Vilnius Ring. When traveling along the changed route in the direction of New Vilnius, buses will stop at Klonis, Rokantiškii sodai, Žilvičiai, Uosii sodi, Duburis, Kalnos, Parparčiai, Uosii, Albert Kojelavičiaus and Dūmi stops.
