The unregulated Paneriškių and Gariūnai street intersection will become safer and more accessible, therefore, first of all, designers will assess the functionality of the selected traffic model. After the implementation of the traffic organization transformation, Paneriškių and Gariūnai streets will be connected by a roundabout. After testing the parameters and contours of the roundabout, the work will be completed in the spring.
On February 7, simple repair works will be carried out on Paneriškių and Gariūņu streets. at the intersection. Car traffic will not change during the works - drivers will be able to drive as usual, but due to ongoing works and people who may be on the roadway, drivers are asked to be careful.

How will traffic organization change?
A roundabout with a diameter of 16 m will be installed in the planned area, with a carriageway of 5,00 m in the ring. The inner island will be paved with cobblestones, the central part of the roundabout will be raised 5 cm above the roadway. The widths of the entrances and exits are selected in accordance with the existing width of the pavement and the passage of heavy vehicles.
Lanes and islands are separated by B-type signal poles and wheel guards.
