Passenger carrier "LTG Link" has good information for those traveling by train - the company's mobile app for them is starting to work. Passengers will be able to store purchased tickets, see travel information, and receive prompt notifications about important changes.
The new app is part of the new LTG Link ticketing system launched earlier this year. This is one of the most important projects of the company in recent years, which aims to provide even more convenient conditions for passengers to purchase tickets and create a new culture of traveling by train.
The LTG Link mobile app is available for download today for Android users, and the company plans to launch an iOS version in June.
"We invite you to choose perhaps the greenest means of transportation - the train, and we strive to constantly improve the travel experience of our customers. We present the highly anticipated news - a mobile app. Using the app, it will be possible to purchase tickets for the planned trip even faster and more conveniently. We are sure that all travelers will feel and appreciate its advantages", says LTG Link manager Linas Baužys.
Passengers who have created a personal account in the mobile app will be able to store purchased tickets, see data about their trips, and receive prompt notifications about important changes in the trip on their phone.
Customers will be able to present tickets to travel attendants in several different ways: in an app, in a "mobile wallet" or even on a smart watch. In the app, as well as on the company's new website, it will be possible to conveniently and independently change or return tickets, purchase additional services. It will also feature a live chat feature that allows you to connect directly with customer service professionals.
The mobile app, as well as the entire new ticketing system, was implemented by the Estonian company Turnit. It is already available for download from the Google Play Store for Android phones.
