Passenger transport companies of the LTG group "LTG Link"The unique digital train travel and environmental protection promotion program "Sustainable Travel Club", founded exactly two years ago, is changing its name and becoming "Train Passengers' Club". With the change of name, train passengers are offered to buy tickets at half the price until the end of March. The club already unites about 85 train passengers, who have traveled 000 million kilometers in two years and saved 138 thousand tons of CO8 - the amount absorbed by about 2 trees per year.
Members of the "Trainers' Club", as before, will be able to convert virtual points received for train kilometers traveled and accumulated kilograms of CO2 into discounts.
"One of the strategic goals of LTG Link is to reduce environmental impact and encourage passengers to choose one of the most sustainable ways of travel - the train. We notice that passenger loyalty to sustainable and comfortable train travel is growing, they travel much more often, so we decided to unite our constantly growing community into the "Trainers' Club". On average, one club member traveled more than a thousand kilometers, and the member who traveled the most covered 82 km in two years - this is the distance that can be covered twice around the world," says Kristina Meidė, head of LTG Link.
According to K. Meidė, the club, having changed its name, will not only offer to save nature together, but will also more actively invite to events for train travelers, present special routes and provide personal offers to loyal travelers. The club, which unites train passengers, will offer exclusive promotions and offers not only for train travel, but will also share additional partner offers for various entertainment and events.
Celebrating its two-year anniversary, the "Train Club" offers all members the opportunity to travel cheaper and receive a discount code for half-price tickets for any route within Lithuania or the international route Vilnius-Riga-Vilnius until the end of March.
Customers who want to join the "Trainers' Club" simply need to create an account on the "LTG Link" website or via the mobile app, or log in to an existing personal account and register for the club. By doing so, train passengers will automatically accumulate points for each kilogram of CO2 saved during a train trip, and these points can be exchanged for a discount on a train ticket or some of the company's other services. The program is open to all passengers purchasing tickets through digital channels, except for business customers and LTG Group employees.
