From now on, train travel between Vilnius and Riga is even cheaper. LTG Group passenger transport companyLTG Link" announces that from now on, tickets on the Vilnius-Riga route will cost from 9,60 EUR one way.
"We are reducing prices to better meet the needs of our passengers. We hope that this will encourage even more people to try this convenient, environmentally friendly way of traveling and visit the capital of neighboring Latvia," says Kristina Meidė, head of LTG Link.
The cheapest ticket prices have been reduced by applying dynamic pricing. This solution gives passengers the opportunity to travel cheaper, and the company can manage passenger flows more efficiently, taking into account the number of passengers planned in advance. Until now, the cheapest train tickets from Vilnius to Riga cost 15,6 EUR.
The Vilnius–Riga train runs daily, the journey takes about 4 hours. It departs from Vilnius at 6:55 a.m. and arrives in Riga at 11:04 a.m. The evening train departs from Riga at 16:55 p.m. and returns to Vilnius at 21:05 p.m. Along the way, the train stops in Kaišiadorys, Jonava, Kėdainiai, Radviliškis, Šiauliai, Joniškis and Jelgava.
LTG Link reminds you that on this route, children under 6 years old (if they do not occupy a separate seat) travel free of charge, and children from 6 to 16 years old receive a 50% discount.
