LTG group passenger transport company "LTG Link" expanded the possibilities of train ticket sales: the sales network was filled with more than 2 thousand new points of sale throughout Lithuania. From now on, all Perlo terminals that provide financial and insurance services sell tickets.
Customers have the opportunity to purchase one-time tickets to travel on local and international transportation routes served by LTG Link, which means that residents of all Lithuania have special conditions to buy tickets in an extremely wide retail network at the same prices as in other LTG Link train ticket channels. At the end of March, ticket sales started at the "Narvesen" and "Lietuvos spaudos" kiosks.
"We want to encourage residents to choose sustainable train journeys as often as possible. The possibility to buy a train ticket closer to home or workplace is another step in increasing the availability of services to the widest possible circle of passengers. We are very happy that the selected sales partner "Perlas Finance" can offer additional convenient options for train drivers to buy tickets," says LTG Link manager Kristina Meidė.
According to K. Meide, the wide network of train ticket sales will be supplemented by the ticket machines currently installed in the stations. According to "LTG Link" data, about one third of all tickets sold are purchased at cash desks in train stations, which is why a solution was sought to expand physical sales points to make the purchase of train tickets even more accessible and convenient for all residents of Lithuania. It is expected that the new sales channel will be more convenient for those who until now have been more comfortable paying in cash at station ticket offices or buying tickets on the train from travel attendants.

In the first phase, Perlo terminals will provide the opportunity to purchase one-time tickets for local and international destinations, as well as tickets with discounts, student discounts, and POLA card holders. Train tickets can be purchased at all Perlo terminals that provide financial and insurance services.
