LTG group passenger transport company "LTG Link" will offer passengers the opportunity to purchase train tickets at the terminals of the trade and service network "Perlo" as early as next year. It is planned to open a wider ticket purchase network for passengers in the spring of next year - in this way, the "LTG Link" ticket sales network will be filled with more than 1500 new points of sale.
"We are constantly increasing the availability of services and creating more convenient travel and travel organization solutions for passengers. In this way, we want to encourage residents to choose sustainable train trips more and more often. Last year, we introduced a new ticket sales system, we are intensively preparing for the introduction of new ticket machines in the country, and we are starting work on the integration of ticket sales systems into the country's largest network of trade and service terminals in order to be able to offer passengers more than 1500 new places for purchasing train tickets throughout the country. As early as next year, this opportunity will be created near train stations, in big cities and smaller towns," says Gediminas Šečkus, acting head of LTG Link.
It is expected that after the start of train ticket sales services at Perlo terminals, no additional service fee will be charged to customers. This means that train passengers will have special conditions and one and a half thousand new ticket sales points, where travel tickets can be purchased at the same prices as in LTG Link sales channels.
"In order to meet the widest possible range of customer needs, we are constantly expanding the range of our services. We both look for opportunities for cooperation and accept offers - as was the case in this case.
From March, passengers will be able to purchase train tickets at Perlo terminals, where other services such as financial, insurance, and lottery ticket sales are also provided. We will pay special attention to those terminals that are closest to the train stations - we will make sure that the sale of tickets takes place as quickly and smoothly as possible.
We undertook the project because we understand the importance of accessibility of this service to people. We also believe and trust LTG Link as a partner with whom we can benefit our customers," says Kęstutis Gataveckas, director of Perlas Finance.
"LTG Link" and "Perlas Finance" are currently carrying out intensive preparatory work on the integration of ticket trading systems. The public will be additionally informed about the launched service next year.
In the "Perlo" network of terminals, passengers will be able to purchase tickets in cash. In the first phase, it will be possible to purchase single tickets for domestic and international destinations, as well as tickets with benefits and discounts.
