In recent weeks, an unusually large number of sky and natural phenomena have been recorded in Lithuania. Recently it was possible to admire the Northern Lights, a little earlier it was possible to see a combination of the trio (Jupiter, Moon and Venus).
An unusual phenomenon will be seen again tonight, when a rare conjunction of Jupiter and Venus will be visible in the sky with the naked eye, according to the Facebook account of the social network "Cosmic nights with Almant".
“These planets will be very, very close to each other. So close that it will look like one super mega bright star to the visually impaired. Of course, we will be able to enjoy this spectacle if the evening is clear. It is best to watch from 18:30 - 20:15 in the western direction," it says "Cosmic nights with Almant" account.
"Venus and Jupiter can still be seen very close to each other this evening, and later these planets will move away from each other in the sky and Jupiter will soon disappear," adds Almantas.
