The spring weather didn't make Lithuanians happy for long. During the night from Monday to Tuesday, winter and snow will return to Vilnius. Beam reassures residents: employees are ready to welcome an unexpected guest - winter.
During the night from Monday to Tuesday, the weather will start to change: negative temperatures will return, there will be precipitation, and in the morning, snow may form.
"Even though the snow clouds will probably move to the east of Vilnius, we are ready to react to winter weather changes: this is not the first year we have been looking after the streets of the capital, we have seen the return of the already gone winter more than once," reassures Grinda.
Grinda assures that in early spring some of the equipment and employees are still working in winter mode. Preventive street spraying will begin on Monday evening. Specialists will be ready to react to the weather conditions early on Tuesday morning so that the return of winter does not burden the residents of Vilnius.
However, Grinda asks drivers to be careful and plan with some time to spare on Monday morning.
