Forecasters are predicting continued heavy rain in Vilnius on Monday, and strong winds during thunderstorms.
"Beam" on his Facebook account informs the citizens of Vilnius that road workers are starting to prepare for the coming rain in advance.
"Different weather tracking apps don't agree on the start or timing of the rain, but we're not going to risk it: the weekend's rain left some surface drain grates covered in last week's grass clippings and torn leaves.
"During the few hours left before the rain, we check the most important routes, we clean the grates," Grinda writes.
If you see a rainwater collection grate that has been moved, which may make water drainage difficult, "Grinda" asks you to report it to 1355.
