Early Thursday morning, the residents of the eastern districts were delighted with snow, which is so rare this winter. Unfortunately, as the warm air blew in, it sizzled and soon melted.
At noon, the temperature was positive throughout Lithuania, and rain fell from the clouds. This time, however, the heat will not burn, the clouds are retreating, cracking, and colder air is returning with the north wind. Soon (15-16 p.m.) the temperature will become negative in Aukštaitia, the cold will slowly penetrate towards the southern regions, it should reach the capital by 17-18 p.m. Wet roads, paths and sidewalks will be slippery during freezing weather.
When walking home after work, you should be careful not to slip. The night is expected to be slightly cloudy, without precipitation, the lowest temperature will be 3-8, 0-2 degrees of frost on the coast, so the bare ice will not melt, it will be slippery.
Clouds will increase tomorrow, but it will remain dry. It will be slippery in places. The temperature will range from 2 degrees of cold to 3 degrees of heat.
